Will It Blend? without a Cord? Easy Cheap DIY Hack for Oster Blender

Hey Tom, will the Blendtec blend without wires or a cord? Can you stuff your blender in a backpack and blend while out camping on on a hike? Oster hybrid CORDLESS blender for Under $10 WARNiNG: This can be dangerous to use.. especially for people unfamiliar with using blenders and/or electric drills. Recommend using safety glases when blending with this technique and use your own discrestion when attempting to do this. This is only meant to be used as information on what I did to come up with a solution for being able to blend with Oster blender cordlessly. This is info and demonstration in how to create a DIY High speed, high power, cordless electri power, compact, lite weight, blender for under 10 bucks. What you need is standard canning jar and lid, under 2 bucks, common drill bit attachment(probably already have the jar, lid and bit attachment at home), the Oster replacment blender blade assembly and bushing (common at most hardware stores or direct from Oster, or better yet buy used one at thrift store or garage sale, or if you are fortunte, u already have one laying around. The blade assembly for the Oster has been the same and interchangeable with all their blenders since at least 1980s and before through to the current units. And finally you need a cordless drill. Will It Juice? Without a Cord? Easy DIY Hack for Z-Star Juicer

Z-Star Juicer Turbocharged with Craftsman Cordless Electric Drill Z-Star Juicer Hacks fan page: www.facebook.com This is a video demonstrating the function of the Z-Star juicer, which normally comes stock with a manual hand crank attachment handle, instead powered by a Craftsman 1/2 inch Craftsman Cordless electric power drill/driver. So far, it is able to handle any of the normal fruits and veggies and leafey greens, wheat grass. And it is able to do it in variable speed, from 0 rpm's up to about 100 or more rpm's. It definitely can speed up the juicing process. And the set up can be created for under 200 bucks, 100 for the juicer, and under 100 for the cordless drill driver. The battery is able to juice way more than 16 ounces of juice on first trial. Not clear how much it could juice on a single battery charge. When attaching drill to crank arm nib, push it all the way in, and be sure to tighten very tight. Ideally you want to put some support under the drill to avoid putting any stress on the drill bit end or the nib of the juicer. Be sure to make sure it is lined up straight.
