DIY,How to make a time lapse video panning device. For under five dollars you can make a time lapse panning device for a small video camera. Things you will need. Cordless drill or regular drill. Regular Hammer Vice. Small egg timer. 1/2 wrench and 7/16 wrench 1/4" drill Bit 1/4" coupling nut 1/4" washer 3/8" washer 1/4" thread 1" bolt 1/4" thread 1/2" machine bolt 1/4" nut To make a time lapse movie video. Thread on your small digital video camera to the top bolt. Turn the dial to 30 min will give you 180 degrees of turn shots Turn the dial to 60 min will give you full 360 degrees of turn shots After filming install video to your computer,from your movie editor, Click the effects button,look for speed up double ,Right click ,Add to time line click,Every time you click this button,It will speed it up twice as fast. eg From 60 min video ,speed up video 1 time will then be 30 min, speed up video again ,And the video will be 15 min long.and so on.
